Our Mission

Watching a loved one battle a terminal illness is difficult — and caring for that ailing family member is even harder. We understand how challenging times like these can be and our mission is to provide compassionate quality care, which contributes to a patient living their final days with dignity and without pain. In our care, your loved ones will be listened to and treated with respect, kindness and gentleness. We consider it a great honor to be chosen to guide your family through this trying chapter and promise to be there every step of the way as if you were our own. 

Hospice Care

We are Medicare and Medicaid certified. Gulf South Hospice does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, ancestry, age, disability, physical or mental handicap, medical condition or sexual orientation. 

A patient is eligible for hospice care if diagnosed with a life-limiting illness, having a prognosis of six months or less. Patients may be referred to Gulf South Hospice by primary care physicians or other health care professionals. Family members or patients themselves can also seek hospice care.
